Associate Account Director / Account Director, Affiliate Marketing at Acceleration Partners.

The Account Director is a critical role at Acceleration Partners that’s ideal for individuals excited about growing online brands and delivering innovative strategies. This role focuses on engaging directly with brands across our client portfolio, delivering strong growth and outcomes on a consistent basis, building strong relationships, understanding business needs, and identifying expansion opportunities.

Responsibilities

Client Management and Engagement – Serve as the primary relationship manager, earning client trust and encouraging growth and retention. Engage with clients at all levels and build rapport through virtual and in‑person touchpoints.

Strategic Thinking and Implementation – Develop forward‑thinking strategies, identify and pitch high‑potential opportunities, and lead the account team to execute innovative tactics that exceed channel and business objectives.

Market Innovation – Stay updated on industry developments, understand publisher models and trends, and advise clients on new opportunities.

Revenue Accountability – Meet and exceed revenue targets, identify expansion opportunities, and achieve high client renewal rates.

Lead, Coach and Influence – Lead by influence, guide and coach account managers, coordinate with Program Directors, and contribute to hiring for senior account team members.

By 6 Months The Account Director oversees the strategic direction and outcomes of multiple affiliate programs, builds strong client relationships, coaches teams, and maintains high client satisfaction scores.

By 1 Year The Account Director drives portfolio expansion, maintains 90%+ revenue retention, and serves as a trusted strategic partner with consistent high client satisfaction scores.

Minimum Qualifications & Skills

8+ years of online marketing, e‑commerce, or affiliate marketing experience

General understanding of affiliate marketing required (direct or indirect channel exposure at agency or in‑house)

Proficiency in delivering compelling presentations and storytelling

Experience managing revenue targets a plus

Data analysis skills and ability to use insights for strategy

Knowledge of affiliate tracking methodologies (Radius by Impact, ShareASale, etc.)

Microsoft Office proficiency

Agency or client service environment experience highly preferred

Track record of increasing client spend through upselling and expansion

Target Salary $100,000 – $130,000 + bonus, location dependent
