This role offers an exciting opportunity to join a national CAD team supporting a variety of civil, environmental, and structural engineering projects. You will collaborate closely with engineers, scientists, planners, and landscape architects to develop high-quality CAD deliverables, construction plans, and project figures. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, a quick learner, and a committed team player with strong communication skills. You will have the opportunity to mentor junior staff, contribute to quality control, and apply innovative design techniques to complex projects. Responsibilities
Collaborate with engineers, scientists, planners, and landscape architects to perform CAD design and produce deliverables for projects.
Prepare construction plan drawings, report figures, and civil designs, including detailed grading, earthwork volumes, and pipeline layouts.
Monitor quality control on assigned tasks and participate in client-needs analyses.
Mentor and train other team members and new staff.
Independently handle complex or novel assignments, developing new or improved techniques and procedures as needed.
Requirements
10+ years of relevant work experience with Autodesk Civil 3D.
Proficiency in managing redline edits with Bluebeam and/or Acrobat.
Strong understanding of Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
Experience in environmental, engineering, or natural resources consulting.
Experience with MicroStation and ArcGIS is a plus.
Detail-oriented, quick learner, strong team player, and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
