We are seeking a seasoned executive to lead our marketing organization with vision, discipline, and a customer‑first philosophy. The
Vice President of Marketing
will define and execute the strategic direction of the function, ensuring alignment across B2B and B2C channels to drive engagement, growth, and brand equity. This role partners closely with sales leadership and the broader executive team to deliver integrated initiatives that advance business objectives and strengthen market positioning. The VP of Marketing will establish and oversee key performance metrics to ensure operational excellence, accountability, and measurable impact across the department.
Essential Functions & Duties
Develop and execute marketing strategy aligned with organizational goals; provide regular updates to the executive team
Champion customer insights and voice‑of‑customer programs to inform strategy and positioning
Partner with Strategy & Innovation on market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities, trends, and threats
Collaborate with Product, Sales, Operations, and Finance leadership to ensure integrated go‑to‑market strategies
Align marketing initiatives with revenue goals and ensure seamless handoff of marketing‑qualified leads
Maintain consistent brand positioning, messaging, and visual identity across all channels and touchpoints
Oversee lead‑generation initiatives across digital and traditional channels (content marketing, automation, advertising, social media, SEO, web)
Analyze campaign ROI and performance metrics to optimize marketing efforts
Manage relationships with external agencies, consultants, and technology vendors
Team Management – 50%
Full P&L responsibility for the marketing budget; demonstrate ROI and optimize resource allocation
Build, lead, and inspire a high‑performing marketing team; foster innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement
Set performance standards and ensure accountability across the department
Conduct annual performance evaluations and coach associates to maximize performance
Participate in succession planning and talent review processes
Supervisory / Budgetary / External Communication:
Manage a team of direct reports
Communicate with external providers, clients, and partners
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related field required
12+ years of marketing experience across B2B and B2C industries
Minimum 7+ years of experience managing and developing teams
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Expertise in digital marketing, automation, analytics, and modern martech stacks
Customer‑centric mindset with ability to translate insights into actionable strategies
Strong analytical and data‑driven decision‑making skills
Executive presence with proven ability to influence senior leadership and build credibility
Experience managing $2M+ marketing budgets with demonstrated ROI
Track record of launching successful integrated campaigns and brand positioning initiatives
