Social Media & Content Marketing Producer

to join our small‑but‑mighty team. This full‑time role is perfect for a creative multitasker with a passion for food, storytelling, and social media—someone who’s ready to roll up their sleeves and bring Boston’s dining scene, and national F&B brands, to life across social media, email, and the web.

- a boutique integrated marketing firm that produces digital marketing campaigns, branded storytelling, and real life experience for food, beverage, and hospitality clients.

Working closely with our Creative Director and Executive Editor, you’ll create and distribute content across channels—writing stories, producing short‑form video, updating member content, managing our social presence, and supporting content marketing and social media advertising campaigns for brand clients.

This is a great opportunity for someone who thrives on variety, loves being behind the scenes (and behind the camera), and wants to grow in the fields of content, social media, and digital marketing.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

BostonChefs.com content creation

– create, edit, and publish restaurant news, chef spotlights, seasonal dining guides, event promos, editorial features, and restaurant job postings for our Industry Insider vertical.

Social media content

– produce and publish BostonChefs’ social media content, stay on top of trends in social video, culinary media, and influencer content, maintain and execute monthly social media calendar, plan, shoot, and edit short‑form video at restaurants and events, write compelling copy for social media, newsletter, and website, track and report on social and email performance metrics.

Email newsletter

– produce and deploy our bi‑weekly e‑licious email newsletter, coordinate content and creative, performance reporting.

Client projects & advertising

– support creative strategy, direction, production, post‑production for client campaigns, assist with photo and video shoots, ad asset creation, content presentation, contribute to campaign reports and performance summaries.

Business development & operations

– collaborate across the team on ongoing strategy, product development, brand voice, audience growth, business process design, documentation, and implementation; pitch in on a range of projects including event support to admin tasks.

QUALIFICATIONS

1‑3 years experience in a content, editorial, social media, or creative production role.

Strong copywriting and editing skills for both web and social.

Proficient in social media video creation—planning, filming, editing (CapCut, Adobe Premiere).

Experience with client and/or vendor relations, coordinating deliverables, timelines, meetings, managing expectations, facilitating communication.

Comfortable with photo editing and design tools (Canva, Photoshop, Lightroom).

Familiarity with social media, email marketing and website performance metrics.

Familiarity with email marketing platforms (Mailchimp, Constant Contact).

Organized, independent, and collaborative—manage time well and work great in a team.

Bonus: experience in the hospitality or food space.
