Overview The Hatcher Group is seeking a detail-oriented and mission-driven Technical Writer to join our team. In this role, you’ll support the Military OneSource program by developing clear, accurate, and accessible documentation that helps convey essential information to military families and stakeholders. You will play a key role in ensuring that written procedures, instructions, reports, presentations, and other deliverables meet high standards of clarity, consistency, and usability.

What You’ll Do
Assess and interpret content requirements to create written procedures, instructions, reports, presentations, and other deliverables.
Analyze content for accuracy, grammar, and factual integrity.
Ensure readability and accessibility of content for diverse audiences.
Collaborate with subject matter experts and project teams to gather and verify information.
Apply consistent formatting and style guidelines to all written materials.
Support the development of internal documentation and knowledge-sharing resources.
Requirements
A bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience, preferably in government contracting.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a necessary Public Trust clearance for this position.
Outstanding writing and copyediting skills.
Demonstrated ability to analyze and synthesize complex information.
Experience working with government or military programs is a plus.
Knowledge of AP Style conventions.
Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
Must be a U.S. Citizen and fluent English speaker.
