As a **Security Officer - Tech/Media Patrol Driver** in **Richmond, VA** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols and maintaining a visible presence at a dynamic tech and media location. This is a driving post, so you will be responsible for patrolling assigned areas by vehicle while providing exceptional customer service and communication, all while embodying our values of agility, reliability, and teamwork.

**What You'll Do:**
  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting the needs of the location.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and maintain a visible presence.
  • Monitor access points and observe activity within the location to help to deter potential security-related concerns.
  • Communicate professionally with staff, visitors, and/or vendors to support a secure environment.
  • Document incidents, observations, and/or any unusual occurrences in accordance with Allied Universal protocols.
  • Collaborate with local management and/or law enforcement as needed during incidents or emergencies.
**Minimum Requirements:**
  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
