Job Title: Library Student Assistant - Print Serials Unit Work Location: Lexington, KY Salary Range: $13.00 Type of Position: Student Position Time Status: Part-Time Required Education: N/A Required Related Experience: N/A Required License/Registration/Certification: N/A Physical Requirements: Must be able to push and/or lift objects of more than 50 pounds. Must be able to sit at a computer for different lengths of time. Shift: Should be able to work 10 hours per week between the hours of 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM M, T, Th, F. Job Summary: The student will process mail; verify, label & check-in any items received; shelve material; assist in electronic resources by verifying links and thresholds as needed; process books & journals in binding/labeling area; pack and unpack boxes as needed; process any other task as assigned by current supervisor or department head. *PLEASE ATTACH YOUR CLASS SCHEDULE* Skills / Knowledge / Abilities: Working knowledge of basic excel functions required. Familiarity with using Microsoft Office products. Good organizational, research and communication skills. Reliability and punctuality a must. Willingness to follow instructions A strong work ethic and attention to detail. Does this position have supervisory responsibilities?
