This role focuses on designing and planning power distribution systems, ensuring efficient, reliable, and sustainable energy solutions that integrate seamlessly with cutting-edge AI technologies. The ideal candidate will engage in complex projects that impact the energy sectors directly, leveraging intelligent systems for enhancing grid performance and optimizing renewable integration. Design and evaluate complex power distribution systems to ensure compatibility with existing infrastructure and future expansion needs. Apply AI modeling to predict load demands and system configurations for optimal performance and efficiency. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data scientists and AI specialists, to develop integrated solutions that address both current and forecasted energy needs. Prepare detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and documentation, maintaining compliance with industry standards and government regulations. Supervise the acquisition of permits, easements, and land use agreements necessary for project deployment. Assess and redesign existing infrastructure to enhance capacity, reliability, and sustainability in line with evolving technological capabilities. Proficiency in CAD and GIS software for electrical design Strong analytical skills with a focus on AI applications in power systems Knowledge of electrical codes, standards, and best practices in utility design Ability to manage projects from inception through completion Excellent communication and collaboration skills Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred Certified Energy Manager (CEM) is a plus
