Power Distribution & Make Ready Designer

TeamSigma, a pioneer in leveraging artificial intelligence and machine learning technologies within the energy sector, is seeking a skilled Power Distribution & Make Ready Designer. This role focuses on designing and preparing infrastructure to ensure optimal distribution of power and integration of new technologies into existing systems. The ideal candidate will be integral in advancing our utilities infrastructure, enhancing efficiency, and supporting the deployment of smart grid initiatives. Design and analyze power distribution networks to ensure efficiency and reliability. Collaborate with engineers and project managers to integrate new technologies and AI-driven solutions into power systems. Prepare detailed drawings and specifications for electrical installations and upgrades. Conduct load calculations and determine the necessary infrastructure requirements for new power installations or upgrades. Ensure compliance with industry standards, local and national electrical codes, and safety regulations. Assist in the coordination of permitting processes with local municipalities and utility companies. Provide technical support during the construction and implementation phases to ensure adherence to design specifications. Proficiency in electrical engineering software (e.g., AutoCAD Electrical, ETAP) Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent project management and communication skills Ability to interpret and create complex technical drawings and schematics Knowledge of power distribution systems, grid infrastructure, and renewable integration Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred. Certification from the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) is advantageous
