Automotive Photographer – Part Time

Schedule: 3 days per week (Monday, Wednesday, Friday) — until work is completed.

Route Coverage: Santa Cruz & surrounding areas.

Pay: $24.00+ per hour. Hourly pay includes a combination of base pay and per-vehicle photo payout.

Additional Opportunities: With heavier workloads, there may also be opportunities to assist in Salinas, Monterey, or San Jose, depending on your location.

About The Role

Pro-MotionPix is seeking a part‑time Automotive Dealership Photographer to capture high‑quality photos, 360° spins, and videos of dealership vehicles using a company‑issued iPhone and mobile app. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working independently, being outdoors, and paying close attention to detail. You’ll stage vehicles, photograph them, and coordinate with dealership staff to ensure everything is ready to shoot. No prior photography experience is required — we provide paid training to set you up for success.

What We’re Looking For

• Have a reliable vehicle and a valid driver’s license
• Are comfortable driving manual transmission vehicles (preferred, not required)
• Can work outdoors and handle physical tasks
• Communicate clearly and solve problems independently
• Provide excellent customer service
• Stay motivated while working independently
• Are open to learning dealership and automotive photography

Job Responsibilities

• Travel to assigned dealership locations using your own vehicle
• Capture photos, spins, and videos using a company‑provided iPhone and app
• Locate vehicle keys and move vehicles to staging areas
• Communicate with dealership staff regarding vehicles that are missing or not ready for photos

Requirements

• Reliable vehicle and valid driver’s license
• Manual transmission experience is a plus
• Strong communication and problem‑solving skills
• Customer‑service oriented and proactive
• Ability to work independently and in outdoor conditions
• Comfortable with technology and learning new tools
• Pre‑employment drug screen and background check
