- Monitor and control access to the location, verifying credentials of individuals entering and exiting the premises to help to deter unauthorized entry.
- Provide customer service by assisting employees, visitors, and contractors with security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter potential security-related threats and identify any unusual activity.
- Document and report any security-related incidents, observations, or concerns according to company and client procedures.
- Support emergency response activities as required, coordinating with Allied Universal management and local authorities when appropriate.
- Maintain a visible presence at access points to help to deter unwanted activity and promote adherence to site-specific policies.
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Access control or badge experience is preferred.
- CPR or first aid is preferred.
- Primarily driving post is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
