Responsibilities
Quote and sell insurance products to potential clients
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure customer satisfaction
Analyze clients’ insurance needs and provide appropriate recommendations
Explain policy details, coverage limits, and exclusions to clients
Assist clients in completing insurance applications and necessary paperwork
Process policy changes, endorsements, and claims accurately and efficiently
Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and policy changes
Collaborate with underwriters to negotiate terms and conditions for policies
Minimum Required Qualifications
Valid resident Illinois Property and Casualty license
Proven experience in sales administration or retail sales
Excellent interpersonal and communication skillsStrong analytical skills with the ability to analyze data and make informed decisions
Compensation
Guaranteed salary: $35,000 annually, plus commission and bonuses
Average first‑year total earnings range: $55,000 – $70,000+ through a combination of base salary, commissions, and bonuses
