We’re hiring on behalf of our client, a boutique residential design studio where artistry and collaboration go hand‑in‑hand. If you’re an experienced designer who thrives at the intersection of creativity, leadership, and craftsmanship, this is an opportunity to make your mark.
As a Lead Interior Designer, you’ll be a key creative force—shaping concepts, guiding Junior Designers, and ensuring project excellence from vision through installation.
The Role
Lead design development, crafting and presenting concepts that align with client goals and studio standards
Source and curate materials, finishes, and furnishings with artistry and intention
Produce detailed drawings, construction sets, elevations, renderings, and other specifications (AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar)
Stay ahead of design trends, innovative products, and industry advancements
Mentor and provide guidance to Junior Designers, fostering growth within the team
Lead client meetings, site visits, and installations with professionalism and creativity
Present design concepts with clarity, artistry, and confidence
Qualifications
3+ years of professional interior design experience
Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field preferred
Strong sense of design, color, materials, and spatial balance; strong eye for detail and appreciation for craftsmanship
Proficiency in design software (AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar); 3D modeling experience is a plus
Strong understanding of construction documents, detailing, and FF&E specifications
Knowledge in Photoshop, SketchUp, or comparable software; familiarity with AI design tools is a plus
Excellent organizational skills; ability to manage multiple tasks gracefully in a collaborative, fast‑paced environment
Collaborative spirit and curiosity to keep growing
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a spirit of collaboration
Bi‑lingual in Spanish is a plus
