Shopify (DTC)

Amazon , with a strong emphasis on the U.S. market.

As we scale, we are looking for a

Marketing Manager

who can own growth strategy, drive revenue-focused marketing execution, and lead cross-platform performance with clear goals, structure, and accountability.

This role is intended to become a long-term, full-time position. To ensure strong mutual fit, we may begin with a

contract-to-hire phase

before full-time conversion.

Role Overview This is a

growth-driven Marketing Manager role .

You will be responsible for translating

sales targets

into actionable marketing plans, managing execution across platforms, allocating budgets, setting KPIs, and continuously reviewing and optimizing performance.

You will work closely with:

Creative Lead / Brand team

(visuals, brand assets, content quality)

Marketing execution team

(social, content, community)

This role owns

strategy, performance, and results .

Key Responsibilities

Translate monthly and quarterly sales targets into clear marketing strategies

Build channel-level plans for Shopify and Amazon

Define customer acquisition vs retention strategies

Plan promotional calendars (launches, seasonal sales, Black Friday, holidays)

Decide when to test, scale, pause, or stop campaigns

Channel Ownership (Shopify & Amazon)

Own overall marketing performance for Shopify (DTC)

Understand and optimize Amazon marketing and traffic drivers (ads, promotions, listing performance)

Align on-site conversion strategy with traffic acquisition

Ensure campaigns are conversion-driven, not just traffic-driven

Paid Media & Budget Management

Oversee paid advertising strategy across Google, Meta, Amazon Ads, and other relevant platforms

Allocate and manage budgets based on ROI and priorities

Monitor ROAS, CAC, CVR, AOV, and contribution margin

Work with execution support or agencies as needed

KPI Management & Reporting

Define clear KPIs for team members and channels

Track performance weekly and monthly

Run reviews: what worked, what didn’t, and why

Adjust strategy based on data, not assumptions

Report performance clearly to leadership

Team Coordination & Execution Oversight

Assign tasks to marketing team members (content, social, community)

Ensure execution aligns with strategy and timelines

Hold team members accountable to KPIs

Collaborate with Creative Lead on assets and brand consistency

Ensure fast feedback loops and clear ownership

Required Qualifications

4+ years of experience in

e-commerce marketing or growth marketing

Strong experience with

Shopify (required)

Solid understanding of

Amazon marketing and marketplace dynamics

Proven ability to manage paid ads and performance metrics

Experience setting KPIs and managing execution through others

Strong analytical and decision-making skills

Comfortable working in a fast-moving, resource-lean environment

Excellent communication and prioritization skills

Nice to Have

Experience in outdoor, EDC, consumer hardware, or lifestyle brands

Experience scaling from small teams to larger operations

Familiarity with email/SMS lifecycle marketing

Experience working with agencies or contractors

Start as a

contractor (20–30 hrs/week)

for the first 3–4 months

Clear success metrics will be defined at the start

Transition to

full-time

based on performance, ownership, and results
