The Senior Water Design Manager will join the Resilience Water Team to lead the technical delivery of municipal water, wastewater and stormwater projects in Texas. Responsibilities
Lead the technical execution of treatment plant and pump station design, including conceptual design, hydraulic analysis, equipment sizing, and final design drawings. Serve as lead designer and/or design manager on water, wastewater and stormwater infrastructure projects, including hydraulic structures such as intakes and gate projects. Collaborate closely with clients, project managers and multidisciplinary teams throughout all project phases from schematic design through construction. Perform quality assurance and control reviews, establish and maintain client relationships, support marketing and pursuit efforts, and manage scoping and budgeting tasks for water infrastructure initiatives. Mentor junior engineers and actively engage in Arcadis’ national process mechanical practice. Qualifications & Experience
10+ years of pump station design experience. Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Environmental, Mechanical, Chemical Engineering or a related field. Texas PE license or ability to obtain within 6 months. Preferred Qualifications 15+ years of experience and Master’s degree or MBA. Proven delivery track record for large and complex water, wastewater and stormwater infrastructure. Familiarity with industry standards such as AWWA, TCEQ and Hydraulic Institute Standards. Experience with key clients in Texas. Key Skills and Attributes
Exceptional technical expertise in the design of water, wastewater and stormwater infrastructure. Strong written and oral communication skills and excellent technical writing abilities. Proven experience managing the preparation, review and approval of final design deliverables. Proficiency in MS Office applications. Why Arcadis

Salary range: $102,065 – $173,510. Actual salary varies based on experience, education, budget, location and internal equity.
