TITLE: Sales & Marketing Manager - Performance Films & Solutions
POSITION OBJECTIVE:
The Sales and Marketing Manager is responsible for leading and executing all sales and marketing strategies for current and new customers for the XF Business Unit. Reporting directly to the President of Performance Films & Solutions, this role directs all outbound sales and marketing activities, manages existing customer relationships, and develops new business opportunities for customers in the United States and Canada.
The Sales and Marketing Manager serves as the primary market intelligence and strategy leader, identifying opportunities related to product, pricing, and placement through end market and internal data. Working closely with sales representatives, and the local Lolita XF plan management, this role develops and executes product, sales, and marketing plans while managing the product life cycle from strategic planning through tactical execution. All initiatives are aligned with corporate objectives and measured against annual sales, profitability, and budget goals.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration, or a related field
Minimum of 10 years of combined sales, marketing, and product development experience with high strength film/substrates used in construction and packaging markets
At least 3 years of new business development experience
Minimum of 3 years of experience managing personnel, brokers, and complex activities
Experience in cross-lamination process preferred
Experience in profit and loss management preferred
Ensure consistent, dependable attendance and demonstrate a willingness to accommodate non-standard work hours as necessary.
Capable of effectively managing job-related stress and fostering productive workplace interactions.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Sales & Business Development
Manage and grow existing customer accounts
Identify, develop, and secure new business opportunities within the PF&S vision primarily in construction and packaging end markets
Execute sales and marketing strategies to achieve annual sales goals
Prepare and present sales plans, forecasts, and performance reviews
Marketing & Product Strategy
Direct all sales and marketing activities
Serve as the market research expert, analyzing external and internal data to identify growth opportunities
Develop integrated product, sales, and marketing plans focused on leveraging the current XF and Reef business model to maximize profitable growth
Manage the product life cycle, including new product development, enhancements, redesigns, and innovation
Provide market insight and customer intelligence to support research, design, and development of new products and technologies
Customer, Sales Representatives, and Team Management
Serve as a key customer resource and primary point of contact for customer accounts
Lead, manage, and develop sales representatives
Oversee daily activities with customer service team, providing guidance and support to ensure high performance
Recruit, train, onboard, and evaluate team members as needed
Work jointly with Lolita plant management to ensure staffing levels to meet customer demand
Ensure customer issues inquiries and issues are resolved promptly and effectively
Monitor and evaluate customer interactions to ensure adherence to quality standards, policies, and procedures
Work with other departments (production, credit, legal, IT, etc.) to address customer needs and ensure high quality execution
Ensure execution and accountability against customer-specific sales objectives
Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, sales representatives, and business partners
Strategic & Financial Leadership
Align market opportunities with production and operational capabilities
Conduct cost/benefit, profitability, and P&L analyses to support decision-making
Ensure all sales and marketing initiatives are executed within budget
Monitor competitive activity, market trends, and emerging needs
Governance & Brand Protection
Collaborate with internal teams on quality control and compliance
Support the management and enforcement of patents and trademarks, as applicable

Work is primarily performed in an office setting, with travel to plant production sites, customer locations, and prospective client visits as required.
