What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
Develop and execute public relations strategies to promote venue programming and enhance public perception
Serve as a PR partner for venue management teams, providing guidance on media relations and community engagement
Manage PR campaigns for events and community initiatives in collaboration with marketing and social media teams
Draft press releases, media materials, and other communications content
Conduct media outreach and maintain relationships with key reporters
What Is Required (Qualifications):
Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field
5+ years of communications experience with a focus on media relations
Experience in sports, live entertainment, or venue-based events
Strong strategic and creative thinking skills
Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication abilities
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
In-house and agency experience in public relations
Demonstrated success in securing media coverage and maintaining media relationships
Familiarity with PR measurement tools and media monitoring platforms
Proficiency with MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
