Role Description Digital (IT) organization is seeking an outgoing individual that will define, coordinate, and deliver both content and communications to internal IT employees and consultants. As Senior Manager for Digital, you will help foster internal engagements, turn concepts into strategies and actions, and maintain strong relationships at all levels of the organization. The ideal candidate will have a shared background in both IT communications and change management, and will be responsible for items such as:
Demonstrates initiative and ownership in creating, managing and distributing communication projects from concept to completion.
Serving as the key messaging partner and trusted advisor by suggesting improvements to messaging and communication strategies.
Develop and execute IT communication plans that simplify complex technical concepts for diverse audiences.
Design and create graphics or visual assets to support IT communications and make complex information more accessible.
Ability to collaborate and communicate with senior IT leadership and other team members.
Regular event planning, coordinating, and hosting of both remote and on-site/in person activities.
Developing new and reusable content for organizational utilization (templates for email, PowerPoint, etc.).
Collaborate and connect dots between the corporate team and the Digital organization - driving strategic alignment and developing processes for better communications.
Required Skills/Abilities
Previous experience in similar role(s) working with IT/Digital senior leaders.
Strong writing and editing skills with attention to detail and tone.
Excellent strategic organization skills and proactive self management.
Demonstrated understanding of IT change management.
Experience leveraging internal communications platforms (Staffbase) and O365 Microsoft (Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint).
Experience working with other creative platforms such as Adobe Creative Cloud, Canva.
The Senior manager will report to the Director of Planning & Governance (Office of the CIO) and will work closely with senior leadership and team members from IT and across the organization.
