About the Role
CFW is expanding our design team and seeks candidates for a Mechanical / Piping Designer position.
Responsibilities
Gathers field data and takes measurements to support project design
Develops Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams
Interprets equipment and piping specifications
Develops layout of process equipment using 3D modeling and scanning technologies
Generates Equipment Arrangement plan and elevation drawings
Generates piping drawings from the P & I Diagrams
Prepares plan and elevation piping drawings and isometric piping drawings
Prepares design drawings for structural supports for specialty equipment
Qualifications
Minimum of an Associate Degree in Design Technology
Required Skills
Excellent level skills in AutoDesk AutoCAD software (3-5 years of experience preferred)
Intermediate level skills in 3D piping design software
Good oral and written communication skills
Preferred Skills
Familiarity with AutoDesk Plant 3D software
Familiarity with Navisworks
