Experienced Architectural Brand and Graphic Designer
Industrial Designers Society of America (IDSA) is seeking a creative, engaged, strategic-minded Brand and Graphic Designer to join a team exploring the overlap between architectural design, strategic narrative, and spatial branding.

Compensation:
$70,700.00 – $118,400.00
Responsibilities
Embrace project goals and concepts, developing and driving design that supports them.
Produce creative initiation of design ideas independently and with teams.
Offer and actively solicit constructive and clear critical design feedback.
Communicate complex ideas visually, verbally, graphically, and in writing.
Be passionate about design and articulate a strong point of view.
Work closely with architectural teams to design strategies, generate narratives, and produce communication materials with graphic clarity and punch.
Engage with all disciplines—Architecture, Strategy, Interior Design, Graphic Design, and Brand Design—to create integrated projects.
Collaborate with internal teammates and external partners, providing clear communication in all media.
Qualifications
6–10 years of experience in branding, graphic design, and spatial design within a design‑focused architectural office or similar.
Professional degree in architecture, branding and/or graphic design, or closely related field.
Strong design portfolio demonstrating technical acumen and sophisticated sensibility.
Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop), Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, and physical/digital printing.
Experience with Adobe After Effects, AutoCAD, Revit, Rhino is helpful but not required.
Excellent English communication skills.
Legally eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship.
Available to start within 2–3 weeks of interview.
Currently residing in the NYC area or willing and able to relocate quickly.
