Director, Plant Operations
Contract-to-Hire (3+ months)
We’re seeking a
Director of Plant Operations
to oversee hospital mechanical and electrical systems, ensuring safety, compliance, and operational excellence.
What You’ll Do
Lead a large, diverse workforce with a focus on staff development, succession planning, and performance management.
Oversee budgets, vendor relationships, and operational projects across the hospital.
Partner closely with nurse directors, managers, and frontline staff to drive continuous improvement.
Ensure compliance with all regulatory and accrediting bodies.
Manage service delivery, IT infrastructure, and energy efficiency initiatives.
Report directly to the CFO and collaborate regularly with senior leadership, including the President.
What We’re Looking For
Exceptional leadership skills
with a track record of managing large teams.
Strong background in employee engagement and organizational performance.
Solid understanding of fiscal planning and financial responsibility.
Experience in healthcare or life sciences environments preferred.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree.
5–7 years of related experience in plant operations or facilities management.
Demonstrated supervisory and leadership expertise.
