About The Role The Ads Co-Marketing Paid team is seeking a strategic, data-driven, and entrepreneurial marketer to support media planning operations. Reporting to the Ads Paid Lead, this role will focus on campaign planning, strategic channel recommendations, cross‑functional coordination, and performance recaps for full‑funnel Co‑Marketing campaigns. You’ll help evolve our approach to campaign execution, enabling deeper impact for DoorDash and our Merchant partners, and drive long‑term business growth through scalable, insight‑led marketing initiatives.

What You’ll Do

Media Planning & Execution: Lead day‑to‑day media planning operations, including channel strategy, campaign coordination, and stakeholder management.

Strong Cross‑functional Project Management: Lead strategic projects end to end, owning internal, agencies, finance, partnerships, creative, and channel teams alignment on goals, timelines, and deliverables.

Senior Stakeholder Management: Candidate has experience leading high visibility projects with XFN senior stakeholders (Senior Manager – Director level). Strong spoken and written communication of complex projects or performance updates.

Campaign Strategy: Develop full‑funnel media strategies with agency partners to drive Merchant brand growth and revenue.

Analytics & Reporting: Leverage measurement tools to assess campaign performance, conduct root cause analyses, and produce clear post‑campaign reports.

Operational Ownership: Establish new processes & playbooks required to optimize internal cross‑functional team operations and with external agency partners, and develop best practices.

Channel Fluency: Work with analytics and media partners to develop a roadmap for testing and experimentation (i.e. Advertiser incrementality testing, new product formats, beta features for monetization etc.).

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher, MBA a plus.

Experience: 5+ years in media planning and buying across Social (Meta, TikTok, Snap) and Brand channels from CTV to audio; agency or in‑house experience at a high‑growth consumer brand preferred.

Strategic mindset: Candidate has experience leading large internal projects that span beyond their own internal team. Can span experimentation, planning, and organizational shifts.

Cross‑Functional Skills: Proven success collaborating with marketing teams including brand, content, production, analytics, and external partners.

Communication Excellence: Clear and succinct written communication and comfort in presenting to executive audiences and cross‑functional partners. Able to communicate complex work to both internal teams and external agencies.

Analytical Acumen: Confident analyzing complex datasets, synthesizing insights, and applying them to campaign strategy—while also taking initiative when data is limited.

Entrepreneurial Spirit: Creative thinker who thrives in ambiguity, builds new systems, and finds solutions with limited resources.

Data Driven: Possess a data‑driven mindset and are not afraid to get your hands dirty and get deep into the data yourself, with experience sifting through a detailed analysis and synthesizing actionable insights to make data‑driven decisions.

Compensation Base salary range $108,800—$160,000 USD. Compensation includes opportunities for equity grants. Talk to your recruiter for more information.
