Position Summary The role of Marketing Specialist for our Dealer Channel will specialize in assisting dealers with their marketing strategies, including message and campaign development, marketing materials, and brand awareness. In addition, this individual will market products to the dealers, analyze market data at a regional and national level, evaluate campaign effectiveness, and adjust future campaigns accordingly. This individual will play an integral role in building and engaging the dealer channel and creating effective campaigns that will promote the long‑term growth of our company.
Responsibilities
Develop and Support Dealer Marketing Strategies
Collaborate with dealers to create tailored marketing plans that align with brand guidelines and business objectives.
Assist in message and campaign development to drive engagement and sales.
Help dealers maximize local marketing opportunities, including digital activations such as social media campaigns, paid search, and localized online advertising.
Provide guidance on leveraging co‑op programs and other resources to enhance local visibility and reach.
Assist with Marketing Material Requests and Distribution
Coordinate and fulfill dealer requests for marketing collateral, including brochures, digital assets, and promotional content.
Manage the distribution of approved marketing materials to ensure timely delivery.
Verify that all materials adhere to brand standards and maintain consistent messaging.
Increase Brand Awareness
Implement initiatives to strengthen brand presence within the dealer network.
Support dealers in leveraging brand identity across their marketing channels.
Product Marketing to Dealers
Promote company products to dealers through targeted campaigns and communications.
Educate dealers on product features, benefits, and competitive advantages.
Assist in planning and supporting in‑person events to ensure they are impactful, successful in launching products, and effective in driving dealer interest and purchases.
Analyze Market Data and Competitive Landscape
Research and interpret regional and national market trends to identify growth opportunities.
Conduct competitive analysis to understand dealer positioning, pricing strategies, and marketing approaches.
Provide actionable insights on what sells and adjust marketing strategies accordingly.
Measure Campaign Effectiveness
Track and analyze performance metrics for dealer campaigns.
Recommend and implement improvements for future campaigns based on data‑driven insights.
Dealer Engagement
Build strong relationships with dealers to foster collaboration and loyalty.
Serve as a marketing resource and advisor for dealer partners.
Support Long‑Term Growth
Develop campaigns that contribute to sustained growth for both the dealer channel and the company.
Stay informed on industry trends and best practices to keep strategies competitive.
You Bring (Requirements, Preferred Skills)
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field.
Experience
2–4 years of marketing experience, preferably in channel marketing or dealer/distributor environments.
Experience supporting marketing campaigns and events.
Technical Skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Familiarity with Digital Asset Management, Content Management Systems, Email and SMS Tools, CRM and marketing automation preferred.
Analytical Ability
Strong skills in analyzing market data and campaign performance metrics.
Ability to interpret competitive analysis and apply insights to strategy.
Communication Skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills for dealer engagement and product promotion.
Project Management
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
