Sales Specialist- Content Marketing- Fully Remote Company Overview Mediaplanet is a content marketing company that develops industry-focused campaigns across connecting brands with influential voices and high-impact distribution channels. As an Account Executive you will lead campaigns from concept through launch—combining research, sales, client management, and production oversight to deliver measurable value to partners.

Role Overview The Sales Specialist is responsible for solution based selling both driving new business and managing ongoing client relationships. In this role, you will be in a leadership position on the campaign level, overseeing the execution of integrated content marketing campaigns from start to finish with the ability to customize campaigns based on client needs. This role requires 2–4 years of professional experience, outbound prospecting skills, strong client communication and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders, timelines, and deliverables simultaneously.

You will begin each quarter by researching a selected industry, identifying key trends, influencers, and distribution channels. You will then pitch campaign opportunities to prospective clients, secure funding, and manage the end-to-end delivery of each campaign in collaboration with internal production teams.

Key Responsibilities Campaign Management

Research industry trends and develop campaign themes and content concepts

Identify and secure relevant influencers, experts, and strategic partners

Collaborate with internal teams to align content with campaign objectives

Outreach & New Business Development

Conduct outbound prospecting to identify and engage potential clients

Pitch campaigns and Mediaplanet products to relevant Mid-Market and Enterprise companies

Secure new business by matching client goals with appropriate solutions

Client Relationship Management

Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients

Build and maintain long‑term client relationships through proactive communication

Ensure a strong understanding of client needs, objectives, and expectations

Production Oversight

Oversee campaign execution in partnership with the production team

Manage timelines, deadlines, and quality control across all deliverables

Ensure a smooth and on‑time campaign launch that meets both client and campaign goals

Required Qualifications

2–4 years of professional experience, preferred fields of sales, project management, customer success

Proven experience managing client relationships and closing new business

Strong phone-based pitching and outbound prospecting skills

Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills

(preferred) B2B Industry experience in healthcare and/or technology

(preferred) Experience in media, advertising, or content marketing
