Sales Specialist – Content Marketing – Fully Remote Join Mediaplanet as a Sales Specialist – fully remote. This role combines research, sales, client management, and production oversight to lead content marketing campaigns from concept to launch.

Company Overview Mediaplanet is a content marketing company that develops industry-focused campaigns connecting brands with influential voices and high-impact distribution channels.

Role Overview The Sales Specialist is responsible for solution-based selling, driving new business and managing ongoing client relationships. You will oversee integrated content marketing campaigns from start to finish and customize campaigns based on client needs.

Key Responsibilities

Research industry trends and develop campaign themes and content concepts.

Identify and secure relevant influencers, experts, and strategic partners.

Collaborate with internal teams to align content with campaign objectives.

Conduct outbound prospecting and identify potential clients.

Pitch campaigns and Mediaplanet products to Mid‑Market and Enterprise companies.

Secure new business by matching client goals with solutions.

Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients and build long‑term relationships through proactive communication.

Ensure a strong understanding of client needs, objectives, and expectations.

Oversee campaign execution in partnership with the production team, managing timelines, deadlines, and quality control.

Ensure on‑time campaign launches that meet client and campaign goals.

Required Qualifications

2–4 years of professional experience (sales, project management, or customer success).

Proven experience managing client relationships and closing new business.

Strong phone‑based pitching and outbound prospecting skills.

Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment.

Strong organizational, communication, and problem‑solving skills.

(Preferred) B2B industry experience in healthcare and/or technology.

(Preferred) Experience in media, advertising, or content marketing.

Compensation

Base Salary: $65,000

Commission: Uncapped

On‑Target Earnings (OTE): $101,000
