FireIce Frogs Corporation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization founded by active and veteran Navy SEALs, is dedicated to supporting Special Operations Veterans and their families through innovative wellness practices. Guided by the principles of ‘Breath and Bond,’ the organization emphasizes holistic well-being through transformative therapies, such as sauna and ice bath treatments. Each wellness kit offered by FireIce Frogs is dedicated in memory of a fallen service member, honoring their sacrifice and supporting their legacy. By combining Special Operations expertise with proven wellness techniques, the organization creates a strong community that fosters healing and growth. Role Description
This is a volunteer hybrid role for a Media Editor (under our Media Director) based in Chesapeake, VA, allowing work to be completed mostly remotely. The Media Editor will be responsible for developing and curating new media content, producing and editing video materials, and managing editorial tasks to support communication strategies. Day-to-day tasks include creating engaging media, writing content, polishing projects for accuracy and consistency, and collaborating with team members to amplify the organization's voice and mission.
Qualifications
Proficiency in New Media content creation and understanding of digital media platforms
Strong skills in Video Production and Video Editing
Experience in Writing and Editorial, with a strong attention to detail
Passion for supporting veterans and their families through impactful media
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a hybrid work environment
Experience in nonprofit communications is a plus
Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Media Studies, or related field preferred is an added bonus
