PROJECT TITLE: Three Sisters (New Adaptation) – Seeking Producer
LOCATION: New York City (with international component)
COMPENSATION: Stipend/Profit Share (details discussed upon interview)
ABOUT THE PROJECT:
We are developing an adaptation of Three Sisters that reimagines Chekhov's Olga, Masha, and Irina as refugees trapped in an airport awaiting their flight to Moscow that never arrives, with the goal of presenting a full production at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in Summer 2026. The piece is currently in development with a dedicated creative team, and we are seeking a producer who can help guide the project into its next phases.
ROLE: PRODUCER We are looking for a motivated, collaborative producer with experience shepherding new work and the capacity to lead a project to a major festival like Edinburgh Fringe.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Overseeing the next stages of development and festival preparation
Advising on timeline, budgeting, and production strategy
Coordinating Fringe logistics (venue applications, registration, travel/lodging planning, ground operations)
Supporting marketing and audience development
Serving as a key liaison between creative team, venue, and any festival partners
IDEAL CANDIDATE
Has producing experience in theatre or festivals (Fringe experience is a major plus and ideal)
Organized, communicative, and comfortable leading logistics from NYC to international festival environments
Excited by new work and collaborative artistic processes
Available to commit through Summer 2026 (including travel to Edinburgh)
