The Sales & Marketing Support Coordinator is responsible for providing operational and administrative support to the Sales and Marketing teams. This role ensures effective management of demo units, product samples, marketing literature, and supplies, while also maintaining the accuracy of customer relationship management (CRM) systems, supporting lead management processes, and coordinating sales and marketing resources. The position plays a critical role in enhancing team efficiency and ensuring a professional and timely customer experience.
Responsibilities
Manage the distribution, tracking, and return of demo units and product samples to ensure availability and proper condition.
Coordinate product sample requests, maintain inventory levels, and manage supply replenishment.
Oversee stock and fulfillment of marketing literature, promotional items, and sales collateral.
Maintain CRM data integrity by entering, updating, and monitoring customer and lead information.
Support the sales lead process, including assignment, tracking, and reporting of leads through follow-up stages.
Provide logistical support for trade shows, open houses, and customer demonstrations, including shipment of units and literature.
Assist Sales team members with pre-sales preparation, including literature & promotional items, and distribution of marketing material.
Support Marketing initiatives by coordinating campaign materials, tracking inquiries, and assisting with program execution.
Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, marketing, logistics, and operations to align support activities.
Assist with execution of company events and planning on behalf of marketing & sales teams.
Working collaboratively with: Sales representatives, Technical specialists, Marketing & Operations.
Additional responsibilities and tasks may be assigned as needed to support departmental objectives and the company's ongoing focus on growth and effectiveness, provided they are consistent with the scope of this position.
Requirements
High School Diploma required; some college preferred.
1–3 years of professional experience in sales support, marketing coordination, or administrative role.
Experience with CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, MS Dynamics) and MS Office Suite.
Excellent organizational and time management skills with strong attention to detail.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills to interact with internal teams and external partners.
Ability to occasionally lift and move items weighing up to 50 pounds in a safe manner as part of inventory management responsibilities.
Experience in B2B or technical product environments.
Familiarity with marketing automation tools and reporting dashboards.
Basic knowledge of logistics or inventory management.
