Account Manager
Channel Factory provides intelligent marketing solutions for the next generation of contextual safety, suitability, and performance for brands and agencies. Base pay range $75,000.00 – $85,000.00 per year
Responsibilities
Become a power user of our ViewIQ technology & execute full 360‑YouTube media planning and buying understanding and functionality.
Serve as the main point‑of‑contact/consultant to clients, communicating how Channel Factory’s products help achieve media goals in the YouTube space—including advisement on YT products, targeting strategy, inventory availability, buying strategy & optimizations, and buying platform assistance (DV360, Google Ads).
Lead kick‑off calls, set clear expectations, and serve as the single‑point‑of‑contact with Programmatic Solutions for all inquiries.
Own and grow a book of business by focusing on client retention, growth, and renewals.
Partner with Sales and independently lead client calls to assist with up‑selling.
Create and maintain short and long‑term account plans for each designated account.
Monitor campaign pacing and performance, proactively addressing issues and providing multiple solutions & optimization strategies for under‑performing areas.
Create mid‑campaign and end‑of‑campaign reports, highlight CF’s effectiveness, and conduct quarterly business reviews (QBR) for key clients.
Update Salesforce for proper campaign information and revenue tracking.
Reconcile monthly billing with Finance, ensuring accuracy & timely completion.
Work closely with Product to improve and enhance our products and ViewIQ platform.
Stay up‑to‑date with current events and industry changes, sharing suggestions to update our Inclusion List approach and methodology as needed.
Assist in special projects as needed.
Ideal Candidate
Self‑starter and curious about digital media, especially YouTube.
Excellent communicator able to articulate and confidently share ideas; manages multiple clients, campaigns, and projects efficiently.
Enjoys data/research to create new ideas and solutions.
Requirements
2+ years of YouTube, SEM, SEO, Facebook/PMDs and/or Programmatic/Trading Desk buying experience.
Client‑facing experience working with both agencies and brands (highly preferred).
Able to develop and set best practices and train other team members in an evolving digital landscape.
Proficient in tracking performance data, analyzing results, and optimizing campaigns across multiple technologies and partners.
Experience in off‑YouTube media, third‑party, and brand studies.
Strong communication skills: verbal, written, interpersonal, and presentation.
Advanced knowledge of Excel calculations, pivot tables, and graphs.
Effective prioritization and self‑direction.
Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and collaborative.
Driven and adaptable to a fast‑paced digital world.
Highest levels of professionalism, integrity, and ethics.
Bonus: Google Ads, DV360, and/or Facebook certified.
Occasional travel for in‑person collaboration, meetings, and training.
