Role Purpose Executes the marketing communications program in support of the divisions’ annual business objectives. Includes crafting messages used to promote Corning’s Automotive businesses internally and externally, and managing the channels used to deliver these messages (e.g., Web, social media, presentations, videos, posters, etc.). Builds, strengthens, protects, and leverages Corning’s brand, trademarks, and copyrights across the geographical regions in which Corning operates to ensure alignment with Automotive’s branding strategy.
Key Responsibilities
Write and edit content that will be used across various tools for internal and external audiences
Collaborate with internal teams to identify internal and external promotional opportunities
Coordinate with corporate communications on corporate and business events related to Automotive marketing communications activities, as appropriate
Participate in projects that involve vendors, work within budgets, and meet timelines
Serve as Automotive communications representative on appropriate projects
Plan events, lead meetings, and manage projects
Required Education
Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, journalism, public relations, or related fields
3-5 years of work experience in corporate or business marketing communications
Excellent verbal communication skills and strong writing and editing abilities in Associated Press style
Ability to craft messaging, ensure accuracy and consistency, and apply different writing styles per audience
Ability to work with different level managers across multiple functions, anticipate challenges, analyze and limit risks and recommend and execute alternate scenarios as required
Ability to work well under pressure, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing project requirements
Creative, organized, and detail-oriented
Ability to learn and understand new technologies and markets
Strong project management skills with ability to assess priorities and to move multiple assignments forward in tandem effectively and efficiently
Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office and proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite preferred, specifically InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop
Experience with web-based tools and interfaces
Self‑motivated; takes initiative
Desired Experiences
Graduate-level education in a related field
Global acumen/business experience
Work experience with similar products or technology
Experience developing and/or managing a brand and marketing materials
Sound judgment and ability to think strategically
Willingness to learn and acquire new skills

Salary range: $70,350.00 - $96,732.00 (full time). Starting pay depends on geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education.
