Event Marketing Manager – Greater Tampa Bay Area
We’re hiring URGENTLY for an
Event Marketing Manager
who will manage all aspects of event planning and execution to build brand awareness and drive lead generation at home shows and other events that attract future customers. This leadership position requires exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and a creative, strategic mindset. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in event and team management, a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences, and the ability to lead and inspire our local Tampa event marketing team.
Base Pay Range $65,000.00/yr – $70,000.00/yr
Core Role Responsibilities
Identify, develop, and own event-based marketing initiatives that generate qualified sales leads for NewSouth Window Solutions.
Explore, negotiate, and attend trade shows, fairs, festivals, community events, and other opportunities to generate leads within the full geographical market area.
Forecast budgets, manage inventory, and maintain approved budget limits.
Exceed sales lead quotas based on established KPIs.
Recruit, hire, train, and manage event staff to deliver an incredible event experience for employees and customers alike.
Schedule event representatives to ensure the event calendar is fully staffed for success.
Partner with branch operations, marketing, and sales to strengthen brand presence within the market.
Track and report event metrics to evaluate team and individual performance.
Travel up to 40% and work weekends and/or evenings to support scheduled events.
Basic Qualifications
High school diploma or GED.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Ability to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time for up to 6 hours during events.
Minimum 2+ years in a customer‑facing leadership position.
Valid driver’s license and driving record that meets company insurance requirements.
Preferred Qualifications
Associate’s degree.
Experience in event marketing, field marketing, sales, or lead generation.
Strong negotiation, recruitment, and training skills.
Self‑starter with the ability to manage and develop others.
Ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously.
Excellent planning and organizational skills with a keen eye for detail.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to work in a fast‑paced, high‑energy, team‑oriented environment.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
