Responsibilities
Create, capture, and edit engaging short-form content for Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook
Support content creation across product launches, campaigns, influencer moments, events, cofounders and evergreen brand storytelling
Capture high-quality iPhone content (video + stills), including behind-the-scenes, lifestyle, and movement-based moments
Ensure all content aligns with Bala’s visual identity, tone of voice, and brand standards
Strong editing skills for paid social creatives
Own the social content calendar via Dash Hudson, scheduling posts across all platforms
Publish posts, stories, reels, TikToks, and lead weekly TikTok Lives
Lead the brand’s broadcast channel, IG highlights, etc
Requirements
2–3 years of experience managing social media for a brand (ideally in wellness/fitness, beauty or fashion space)
Strong familiarity with Instagram and TikTok, including short-form video and trend adaptation
Comfortable capturing content with founders in real time (events, meetings, travel, workouts)
Strong eye for aesthetics, storytelling, and pacing
Highly organized, proactive, and confident communicating ideas
Passionate about wellness, fitness, design-forward brands, and culture
Preferred
Are fluent in social tools like Dash Hudson and graphic tools like Adobe and Canva
Have basic analytics or reporting experience
Have experience supporting executive or founder-led content
Can concept → capture → edit → post independently
