Account Supervisor - Corporate Communications

open to candidates in New York or Los Angeles. This role will help build our rapidly growing corporate communications practice, called Reputation+.

As an

Account Supervisor, Corporate Communications , you will play a key role in our client relationships at the intersection of corporate and consumer — the "corpsumer" space — where brand reputation and cultural relevance meet. You will work on a portfolio of corporate communications clients, managing high-impact work across crisis and issues management, internal communications, executive visibility, and thought leadership. The right candidate will be creative, strategic, organized, inquisitive and bold in their thinking, able to work in a fast‑paced environment and know what makes great client work.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Be a key member of client account teams, working as a link between the junior and senior team members.

Execute corporate communications programs, including crisis and issues management, internal communications, executive visibility, and thought leadership.

Manage program tactics within a campaign with oversight from senior team members.

Create timelines, identifying all deliverables from campaign start to finish with minimal oversight.

Able to work in a fast‑paced environment and manage multiple accounts and clients at a time.

Write creative and compelling materials that require little to no revisions.

Keep your finger on the pulse of industry trends to inform media relations and social media strategies.

Recommend creative and engaging tactics for client campaigns based on market developments and industry knowledge.

Support plan development by writing tactical recommendations in a compelling manner with little revisions required.

Manage executive speaking bureaus, proactively uncovering opportunities & recommendations.

Present tactical recommendations to clients with little support from senior team.

Directly execute client‑facing correspondence with little or no supervision.

Establish direct, professional relationships with client contacts.

Support client crisis events with timely monitoring, research and other needs as directed.

Support new business pitch development through generation of research and developing PR tactics with oversight from senior team members.

Help to build out ideas for identified client growth opportunities.

Review and maintain understanding of client budgets as well as manage execution budgets.

Build positive professional relationships with junior staff and provide constructive and comprehensive feedback when reviewing work from junior level.

REQUIREMENTS

5-7 years of communications experience in an agency or corporation. Agency experience working with larger, complex organizations preferred.

Proven experience with integrated corporate communication programs including corporate brand building, media relations, issues and crisis management, executive visibility and thought leadership, digital and social, and stakeholder management is required.

Both B2C and B2B experience is a plus.

Confident presentation skills.

Deep understanding and application of best practices in earned and social media.

Solid understanding of the different social media platforms and how to use them.

Strategic thinker – Creative and analytical in gathering information about clients’ industries and business. Can effectively apply what’s 'known' toward measurable and effective communications strategies that generate desired results, and grow client relationships.

Strong writer – Capable of delivering effective and creative written products for clients, including media materials, speaking notes and executive blog posts.

Advisor - Demonstrates an excellent understanding of the clients’ businesses, runs effective client meetings and shows a high level of integrity in providing advice and counsel to support teams.

True teammate – Understands the importance of advance planning, well designed processes and measurement tools to help optimize the long‑term success of group and team activities.

Media relations - Strong understanding of storytelling. Proven media relationships and results.

Transparency matters to us. For this role, you can expect a salary between $80,000‑95,000 annually depending on experience.
