Romanian Creative UI and Marketing Linguist
We are looking for English‑to‑Romanian translators to join our growing team for a global music streaming client with services including music streaming, podcasts, and more. Translators will take ownership of incoming work on this account and actively contribute to its success.
Job Title : English to Romanian Creative UI and Marketing Senior Translator/Reviewer
Start Date : ASAP
Location : Remote (based in the US or Canada, or able to work US hours)
Task Type : Translation, Copy Edit
Estimated Work Volumes : 15 hours/week
Employment Type : Freelance
Main Duties
Translate and review content from English into Romanian, preserving original meaning while ensuring clarity and cultural appropriateness for the target audience.
Handle content types including Informational, Legal, Marketing, Product, and Support.
Use CAT tools such as Smartling for translation and review workflow.
Required Skills
Minimum 3 years of experience translating and reviewing content in the specified subject matter.
Proficiency in marketing, product, and informational content translation.
Familiarity with translation and terminology tools.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
Some degree of proficiency in Romanian, with native fluency in the target language.
Degree in linguistics, translation, or equivalent experience.
Ability to follow instructions (e.g., character limits) and explain translation choices.
Technical knowledge of UI and creative content (e.g., synopses, episodic titles).
