About the Role As the Communications Specialist, MSP, you will be responsible for shaping how we communicate our story to Managed Service Providers (MSPs)—crafting narratives that resonate with their challenges, highlighting NinjaOne’s technical differentiation, and strengthening our brand presence in the endpoint management ecosystem. This role blends strategic storytelling with hands‑on execution across PR, customer advocacy, thought leadership, demand generation, and community.
Location Flexible remote working from home—eligible if you are located in the USA and in one of the following states: CA, CO, CT, FL, GA, IL, KS, MA, ME, NC, NJ, NY, OR, TN, TX, VA, WA.
What You’ll Be Doing
Executing communications strategies that build awareness and trust with the global MSP community
Partnering with PR agencies to secure earned media placements in MSP, IT channel, and tech industry outlets
Drafting compelling press releases, media pitches, and thought leadership content
Managing and expanding relationships with industry influencers and media
Supporting a steady drumbeat of news, product updates, customer success stories, and executive commentary for the MSP audience
Assisting company spokespeople with messaging, media prep, written communication, and more
Collaborating with the larger Corporate Communications team on cross‑functional initiatives, including reporting
Other duties as needed
About You
2‑4 years of experience working in a fast‑paced, high‑growth B2B tech environment and/or a B2B tech Public Relations agency
An understanding of and appreciation for the MSP community and its unique challenges
Experience working with channel and MSP press
Outstanding writer and speaker who can simplify complex technology into relatable, concise messaging
Self‑motivated learner with a commitment to high standards and rapid skill development
Proven ability to drive initiatives through cross‑functional teamwork
Preferred BA/BS Degree in any field—diversity is valued

Due to operational policies, NinjaOne is unable to hire this role within the city limits of Chicago. Candidates must reside outside Chicago or be willing to self‑relocate.
Compensation Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on location, market demands, experience, and job‑related factors. For roles based in California, Colorado, New Jersey, or Washington, the base is $80,000 to $90,000 per year. For roles based in New York, the base salary range is $80,000 to $90,000 per year.
