Role Description This is a full‑time role located in the Nashville Metropolitan Area for a Sales and Marketing Representative. The representative will be responsible for building and maintaining customer relationships, effectively communicating products and services, securing sales, and providing excellent customer service.

Key responsibilities include identifying new sales opportunities, generating leads, conducting in‑home sales presentations, and assisting in marketing efforts to promote the company’s services. The representative will also provide training and updates to customers and internal teams as necessary.

Basic Functions

Manage a $1,200,000+ sales plan, selling painting services.

Learn and execute the Pointer Painting sales process (pre‑bid, during bid, post bid).

Hit personal sales target, margin target, and cost on margin target.

Enter estimates into company CRM per the Sales Manager’s expectations.

Respond to customers’ questions and office questions per Sales Manager’s expectations.

Independently study to become competent in all services we provide.

Generate leads each week through personal prospecting activity (some leads are delivered by the company marketing activities).

Attend weekly Goal Alignment Meetings (GAM) and L10 Team Meetings.

Build a sales plan and track against it at all times, with Sales Manager guidance.

Turn in a weekly GAM Report highlighting weekly, quarterly, and overall numbers, journaling previous weeks drivers and restrainers, and upcoming weeks goals and priorities.

Time and Compensation

Full‑Time – higher volume of work in the exterior painting season (May – October).

Base salary + pay per lead generated + commission – base salary set on past experience and current skill level.

Qualifications

Strong communication and customer service skills to engage effectively with clients and address their needs.

Proven expertise in sales and the ability to meet or exceed sales targets.

Experience in training and facilitating learning opportunities for customers or internal teams.

Proficiency in sales & marketing techniques to promote services and generate leads.

Strong organizational and time‑management skills.

Ability to work independently and collaborate with a team effectively.

Previous experience in a similar industry is a plus.
