This is an entry level Management position, not eligible for:

This is an exempt salary position, starting wage of $45,000 - $50,000 per annum.
Education – Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or Hotel Management.
Service years – Five years of similar positions or an equivalent combination of education and work‑related experience.
Knowledge and skills:
Strong knowledge of local businesses and business trends.
Strong background in Marketing Campaign creation, Digital Marketing, Brand management.
Good communication, writing, negotiation skills.
Demonstrated ability to interact with customers, employees, and third parties that reflects highly on the resort, the brand, and the Company.
Problem solving, reasoning, motivating, organizational, and training abilities.
What’s the job? As a Marketing Manager, you’ll oversee and direct all aspects of Marketing activities for the Crowne Plaza Resort Guam.
Your responsibilities include planning promotional strategies and marketing plans for all resort areas, creating engaging content, managing marketing team members, and working closely with marketing partners, vendors, and media. You’ll also provide marketing reporting and routine interaction with the Cluster Director of Sales & Marketing, Director of Sales and Marketing in‑charge, and other stakeholders.
Your day to day – People
Support colleagues to ensure compliance with standards.
Drive a high‑working environment, linking up departments to create a sense of one team.
Promote teamwork and quality service through daily communication.
Recommend or initiate HR related actions when needed.
Coordinate with Department Heads and inter‑departmental colleagues.
Coordinate all methods of maintaining and increasing business volume: advertising, sales promotion, partnership, publicity, community relations, special projects, content building, collaborations with vendors.
Your day to day – Financial
Identify growth opportunities and investigate potential markets.
Review government statistics and destination analytics.
Analyze and monitor competition’s sales/promotional activities.
Recommend marketing activities to the Director of Sales & Marketing based on analytics, trends, and vendor consultations.
Procure new and repeat business by maintaining contact with airlines, travel agencies, commercial houses, clubs, and associations.
Your day to day – Guest Experience
Deliver Crowne Plaza Brand Promise and Service Signatures daily.
Enhance the resort’s image in the local community.
Participate as an active community member through associations, memberships, and trade organizations.
Review marketing personnel activity reports to ensure targets and sales objectives are met.
Review internal promotion pieces for visual effect and brand compliance.
Organize and promote events to stimulate food & beverage sales.
Interact with external individuals: clients, convention bureaus, associations, government offices, airlines, travel agents, operators, partners, media, vendors.
Your day to day – Responsible Business
Review public relations activities for high awareness.
Manage development of new products and services.
Oversee development of new marketing strategies.
Conduct market research.
Maintain communication with Regional Sales and Marketing and implement corporate initiatives.
Collaborate with Human Resources on manpower planning.
Work with Director of Finance on budget preparation and management.
Ensure property safety and participate in safety initiatives.
Perform other ad‑hoc duties as assigned.
Champion environmental and sustainability initiatives.
