Job Summary Armstrong World Industries needs an Architectural & Design Sales Manager to cover the North Carolina market. The role interacts with architects, interior designers, owners, and facility managers to influence and secure specifications for Armstrong Commercial Ceiling, Wall, and Specialty Systems. You will meet or exceed sales budget goals in price, volume, and mix, partnering with other sales reps to drive business results.

What You’ll Do

Achieve the territory’s sales goals and grow the business by increasing market share, improving product mix, raising average unit price, and introducing new products.

Influence specification decision makers and positively affect stakeholders’ behaviors.

Assist architects and designers in writing specifications for Armstrong products.

Track projects with team members to plan sales strategies for buildings.

Create customer value and competitive advantage to grow the business.

Participate in continuous learning through individual and team development initiatives.

What Will Make You Successful

Demonstrated ability and experience managing multiple relationships and priorities.

Strong planning skills for both short and long term.

Knowledge and experience with construction, contracting, and distribution.

Proficiency with computer software, including Microsoft Windows applications.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Construction Science, or a related discipline; equivalent professional experience considered.

High school diploma required.

3+ years of architectural sales experience.
