What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
Market products and services through the independent agency system in designated territories
Manage communication and relationships with agents, underwriting departments, and Account Executives
Present new business submissions to the Underwriting Department with strategic insights
Focus on achieving high renewal retention and profitable growth of new business
Travel for client meetings and presentations as required
What is Required (Qualifications):
Bachelor’s degree
Minimum of 10+ years of experience in production underwriting or marketing commercial insurance, preferably in workers’ compensation
Knowledge of the Independent Agent system and strong relationships with key agencies in the territory
Additional experience in underwriting, loss control, or claims is a plus
Must reside in Indianapolis, Cincinnati, or Louisville
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
Experience with large account workers’ compensation insurance
Strong group presentation skills
Proven track record in achieving sales targets
Familiarity with claims and loss control processes
