Social Media & Marketing Director – Coppermine Health & Fitness & Youth Programs Position Overview

The Social Media & Marketing Director for Health & Fitness and Youth Programs is responsible for developing, leading, and executing innovative marketing strategies that grow the Coppermine brand and drive engagement, membership, and program participation. This role focuses on creating fresh concepts, dynamic content, and memorable events that highlight Coppermine's fitness offerings, trainers, youth programs, and community culture. The Director will collaborate closely with trainers, coaches, and internal teams to deliver impactful campaigns that reinforce Coppermine as a leader in health, wellness, and youth development.

Key Responsibilities

Marketing Strategy & Brand Growth

Develop and implement strategic marketing plans to increase visibility, membership, and participation across health & fitness and youth program divisions.

Identify growth opportunities and emerging trends to keep the Coppermine brand relevant, innovative, and competitive.

Establish clear KPIs and track performance across campaigns, social media platforms, and events.

Social Media Leadership

Create and manage a results‑driven social media content calendar across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, and other platforms.

Produce engaging, on‑brand content including videos, photos, testimonials, behind‑the‑scenes features, program spotlights, and trainer collaborations.

Monitor analytics to optimize engagement, reach, and conversions.

Maintain a cohesive brand voice and visual identity across all digital channels.

Creative Content & Campaign Development

Generate fresh, original ideas that highlight Coppermine's fitness programs, youth activities, staff expertise, and community energy.

Oversee the production of promotional materials—digital ads, email campaigns, flyers, and branded assets.

Lead storytelling efforts that communicate the Coppermine mission, member success stories, and program highlights.

Event Creation & Promotion

Conceptualize, plan, and promote special events, challenges, and community engagement activities to drive traffic and new member acquisition.

Partner with staff, trainers, and program directors to develop interactive experiences such as fitness workshops, youth events, pop‑ups, seasonal campaigns, and open houses.

Manage event marketing timelines, budgets, and promotional strategies.

Collaboration & Team Communication

Work closely with trainers, coaches, youth directors, and leadership to ensure marketing reflects program goals and needs.

Provide clear communication, guidance, and support to ensure all teams contribute content and ideas effectively.

Foster a collaborative environment where staff feel empowered to participate in marketing and brand storytelling.

Community Engagement & Partnerships

Build and nurture community, school, and local business partnerships to amplify program visibility.

Represent Coppermine at events, expos, and networking opportunities to enhance brand presence.

Salary

Starting at $45,000, commensurate with experience.
