full-time Project Designer
to provide AutoCAD design and drafting support for a variety of civil site development projects. A Day in the Life of a Project Designer As a Project Designer, you will design complete sets of site development plans—including site geometry, utilities, grading, drainage, and erosion & sediment control—while adhering to client specifications and our internal standards. You will perform drainage calculations for slopes, sewer design, hydraulic systems, and detention ponds. Your drafting work spans multiple industries; you will transition designs from concept through construction documents using AutoCAD Civil 3D, anticipating potential issues by reviewing surveys, field notes, and other materials. You will submit redlines and revisions promptly and collaborate with project managers, contributing to project success and team cohesion.
Qualifications
High proficiency with AutoCAD and Microsoft Office suite
Full range of visual depth perception and the ability to distinguish colors
Valid driver’s license, acceptable driving record, and ability to travel overnight as needed
Two or more years of AutoCAD civil design experience is strongly preferred. Strong attention to detail, excellent verbal and written communication skills, analytical mindset, and a collaborative spirit are essential.
Work Schedule Full‑time schedule with occasional overnight travel.
