Purpose The Computer‑Aided Design (CAD) Designer will create precise technical drawings, modify existing drawings, model parts, and maintain CAD files and related documentation.
Responsibilities
Develop detailed technical drawings and 3D models with precision and accuracy.
Update and revise existing drawings to reflect changes and modifications.
Maintain organized CAD files and documentation for ongoing projects.
Oversee document control for released drawings and Bill of Materials.
Collaborate with engineers and designers to interpret design concepts.
Perform other related functions as assigned.
Required Qualifications
8+ years of experience in CAD design, drafting, or related fields.
Proficiency in CAD software.
Basic understanding of engineering principles, materials, and manufacturing processes.
Knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T) and ISO drafting standards.
Good communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment.
Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
Associate’s degree or higher.
Additional certifications in CAD software or design principles.
Experience in the semiconductor industry.
Proficiency in Creo.
Familiarity with PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) software.
Experience with fabricated part procurement and vendor discussions.
Salary Range $60,000 + depending on qualifications.
Working Conditions
May work around standard office conditions.
Repetitive use of a keyboard at a workstation.
Use of manual dexterity (e.g., using a mouse).
Work Shift Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week.
