Overview Seeking a Community/HOA Assistant Manager and Manager to assist with and manage a portfolio of homeowners’ associations. This role requires developing efficient solutions to meet required results.
Location:
DTC, In office position
Requirements
Experience:
1+ years in management (property/HOA, project and/or hospitality management)
Certifications:
CMCA or higher designations preferred
Schedule:
Must be available for evening meetings and after‑hours/weekend on‑call. Standard business hours.
Skills
Strong communication skills to effectively communicate with a variety of people and vendors both verbally and in writing
Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to multitask including handling large amounts of emails and phone calls and provide accurate and timely follow‑up
Collaborate effectively with colleagues and contribute to a positive office culture
Job Duties
Board Liaison:
Serve as the main point of contact for HOA Boards, attend meetings, and communicate board decisions to residents. Complete board packets, management reports, action‑item lists and follow‑up accordingly
Meetings:
Schedule, prepare for and attend meetings. Meetings may occur via Zoom and/or in person and often in the evening
Communication:
Draft and execute all association communications including statutory notices, newsletters in coordination with the board, emergency notifications, email blasts
Vendor Management:
Manage vendors ensuring contract requirements are met and services are delivered on time
Covenant Enforcement:
Conduct site visits to ensure adherence to HOA rules and regulations, prepare reports on the status of associations and operations
Customer Service:
Handle escalated resident issues, disputes, or complaints in person, over the phone, or virtually with professionalism
Financial Management:
Code and input invoices into the system, review and monitor monthly expenses and provide financial updates
Compensation Competitive pay:
$65K to $85K, based on experience and portfolio
Benefits Offered after 90 days
