Expeditor - Maryland or Coppell, TX

Expedite orders where necessary and update ERP system to reflect order status Work closely with production planning, inventory controller and buyers to identify material deficiencies and resolve issues Support the prevention of shortages from supply chain and manage unexpected shortages Maintain communication with suppliers and internal customers, from PO acknowledgement to receipt, to ensure vendor quality and schedules are met Maintain good working relationships with vendors and manufacturers Co-operate and co-ordinate, within the scope of task, with suppliers, managers and internal customers. Maintain and enhance operational procedures to increase efficiency and productivity Perform other duties as assigned by manager
