Bridger is building the AI automation platform for professional services. We are a full-stack AI company: we own the entire service delivery stack, allowing us to capture the true potential of AI faster and significantly expand our TAM compared to traditional AI SaaS products.

Our team consists of a product division (developing our proprietary AI platform) and a services division (managing and delivering services to our clients). Our critical advantage vs. traditional AI SaaS companies is our control, access, flexibility, and rapid iteration required to fundamentally reimagine and automate complex professional workflows.

Today, we serve thousands of clients. Since earlier this year, we’ve expanded our team by 10x and grown revenue from zero to millions. We’re backed by world-class VCs and institutional investors that have built multibillion-dollar platforms.

About the Role We’re looking for our first design hire, a

Senior Product Designer

who will define the fundamental architecture of how professionals work with AI agents. You’ll look beyond simple UI polish to solve deep ergonomic challenges: How does an expert service provider delegate and review AI‑driven tasks? How do we visualize complex AI‑driven workflows? How do we blend autonomy with user agency?

This is a strategic, high‑impact role that blends systems thinking and interaction design. We’re looking for someone who cares deeply about the details that make an interface feel right!

As the owner of both

design polish

and

interaction architecture , you’ll work directly with engineers and users to build a design system from scratch, architect intuitive workflows, and drive clarity and scalability across a fast‑growing product surface. You won’t just be making screens pretty; you will be architecting the “OS” for professional work.

What You’ll Do

Drive Design Strategy.

Partner with leadership to turn high‑level abstract goals into concrete product requirements and user journeys.

Take Ideas End‑to‑End.

You’ll drive creation, whether it’s exploring concepts in Figma, prototyping in code, or shipping production‑ready features.

Design and Build Interfaces.

Solve novel UX challenges involved in making advanced AI capabilities accessible, such as handling streaming latency, visualizing non‑deterministic outputs, and designing "human‑in‑the‑loop" verification flows.

Define Human‑AI Interaction Patterns.

You will architect the core UX paradigms for working with AI, moving beyond chat interfaces to create ergonomic, high‑bandwidth workflows for complex tasks.

Rapid Prototyping.

Use whatever tools necessary, from Figma to AI tools, to implement and test design variations in hours, not days.

Zero‑to‑One.

Translate scrappy explorations into production‑ready experiences, working closely with the engineering team.

Collaborate with Internal Teams and Users.

Work closely across the company to gather feedback, analyze behavior, and iterate on product improvements.

Preferred Qualifications

5+ years of experience in product design, interaction design, ideally working on complex B2B SaaS

Experience in modern front‑end frameworks (React, TypeScript, Next.js, etc.)

Fluency in modern design tools (e.g., Figma) and AI‑assisted workflows ("vibe‑coding"), with a proven ability to iterate quickly based on feedback.

Strong visual and interaction design craft, with an exceptional eye for typography, layout, motion, and micro‑interactions.

Excellent collaboration skills; comfortable working closely with engineers, clients, and stakeholders.

Self‑motivated and able to work independently as well as within a team environment.

Excited to work in a fast‑moving, product‑first startup where quality, polish, and speed of iteration truly matter.

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Interaction Design, HCI, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

Location

This is a full‑time, in‑person role in NYC.

For this role, the salary range is $150,000 to $250,000. Actual compensation will vary based on skills, experience, and seniority.
