Role Overview Senior Industrial Designer

What You’ll Do

Lead the full industrial design process—from concept sketches and mockups to CAD development, prototyping, and production handoff.

Own assigned product categories and support long‑term innovation and roadmap planning.

Generate new product concepts and enhance existing designs using research, trends, and consumer insights.

Collaborate with Engineering, Marketing, Costing, Compliance, PMO, and Brand teams to define product features, specifications, CMF direction, and manufacturing requirements.

Conduct competitive reviews, evaluate customer feedback, and translate insights into actionable design improvements.

Participate in user testing and analyze feedback to ensure safety, functionality, and consumer satisfaction.

Identify design challenges early and develop creative, feasible solutions.

Create clear presentations to share design intent and direction with cross‑functional teams and leadership.

Utilize 3D printing and rapid prototyping tools to test, refine, and validate design concepts.

Manage schedules for priority projects and deliver work aligned with project timelines and business needs.

Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Design (preferred) and 5+ years of product design experience through production.

Strong portfolio demonstrating styling, storytelling, and consumer product design (hard goods, soft goods, or electronics).

Proficiency in SolidWorks, KeyShot, Illustrator, and Photoshop.

Hands‑on experience with 3D printers and rapid prototyping workflows.

Knowledge of manufacturing processes including injection molding, blow molding, rotocast, and compression/liquid injection molding.

Clear communicator with strong presentation skills and the ability to articulate design intent.

Organized, self‑driven, and capable of managing multiple priorities.

Strong collaborator who also works effectively independently.

Salary range: $90,000 + annually
