Job Summary Design Leader responsible for original concept design and construction build‑out of 7‑Eleven Stores, focused on creating appropriate guest experiences by Store Type.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Creation of designs and implementation of floor plans and 7‑Eleven Store Standards with focus on guest experiences.
Aid in transition of concept/prototype design standards to core business, developing guidelines for A&E firms, designers, construction CM’s, and RE reps.
Provide ongoing leadership to core organization to ensure store design concepts and guest experiences evolve and address changing needs and priorities.
Verify stores’ floor plans for assigned projects or on location against construction vs approved floor plan, analyze variations, address discrepancies, and report findings.
Education and Experience Education:
Bachelors/4 Yr Degree
Years of Relevant Work Experience:
3+ years
Certifications / Licenses:
AutoCAD; College Degree/Certification in Retail Merchandising, Store Design, Merchandising or Construction or experience equivalent.
Specific Knowledge and Skills
Strong problem-solving ability with a strategic mindset.
Extensive experience in retail design, superior analytical capability and ability to understand implications, develop and defend a point of view.
Strong written and verbal communications, including ability to create presentations for senior leadership.
Comfort partnering with and communicating cross‑functionally and at all levels of the organization.
Working knowledge of MS Excel, Word, Power Point, and AutoCAD necessary to perform position requirements.
