Communication Strategist (Water Business Group)

Pay: $48,699 – $92,760 per year.

As part of the Water Business Group, you will help communities manage water for generations to come, supporting public health, environmental sustainability, and infrastructure resilience.
Responsibilities
Develop content marketing strategies and communication plans for specific initiatives and projects.
Lead global and local communication strategies with internal partners, creative, marketing and communications teams.
Assist in developing and managing an editorial calendar.
Work with subject‑matter experts to write white papers, feature articles, thought‑leadership pieces, and social media posts.
Ghost‑write and edit blogs, social media posts, papers and presentations.
Help develop collateral pieces and marketing campaign materials.
Research, write and edit project narratives and case studies.
Monitor industry best practices and maintain a repository of trends.
Support event management as needed.
Bring creative ideas to the table.
Perform other duties as required.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a closely related field.
Previous consulting and/or creative agency experience.
Required Qualifications
Minimum 5 years experience in communications (social media, event planning, community engagement, target marketing, writing, public involvement, etc.).
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Self‑motivated, able to work independently with multiple teams and also in a team‑oriented environment.
Positive interpersonal communication skills.
High aptitude for managing and solving tactical issues.
Commitment to being an active participant in our employee‑owned culture.
Comfortable working with senior leaders and managing cross‑functional efforts.
Demonstrated ability to operate strategically and tactically in a high‑energy, fast‑paced environment.
Committed to quality, continuous improvement and HDR values.
Proficient in Adobe InDesign.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
