Communication Strategist (Water Business Group)

Responsibilities
Develop content marketing strategies and communication plans for initiatives and projects.
Lead global and local communication strategies with business partners, creative, marketing, and communications teams.
Assist in developing and managing an editorial calendar.
Work with subject‑matter experts to write white papers, feature articles, thought‑leadership pieces, and social‑media posts.
Ghost‑write and edit blogs, social‑media posts, papers, and presentations.
Help develop collateral and marketing campaign materials.
Research, write, and edit project narratives and case studies.
Monitor industry best practices and maintain a repository of trends.
Support event management as required.
Bring genuine, creative ideas to the table.
Perform other duties as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in a closely related field.
Previous consulting or creative agency experience.
Required Qualifications
Minimum of 5 years experience in communications (social media, event planning, community engagement, etc.).
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Self‑motivated; can work independently and with multiple teams.
Great interpersonal and communication skills with a positive outlook.
High aptitude for managing and solving tactical issues.
Commitment to HDR’s employee‑owned culture.
Comfortable working with senior leaders and managing cross‑functional efforts.
Ability to operate strategically and tactically in a fast‑paced environment.
Commitment to quality, continuous improvement, and HDR values.
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign).
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
