Music, Recreation or Art Therapist—Per Diem
Responsibilities
Provides direct patient care on assigned units; including Creative Therapy group sessions and doctor ordered individual assessment sessions. Completes Creative Therapy documentation including assessments, group summaries, and billing within time constraints. Serves as a member of the treatment team. Understands and utilizes principles of growth/development for adolescent patients and the age specific needs of geriatric patients.

Qualifications
Music Therapist: a Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited school and Board Certified Music Therapist
Recreation Therapist: a Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited school and Board Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist
Art Therapist: a Master’s Degree from an accredited school and Registered Art Therapist
Weekend Required
Strong communication and documentation skills
Inpatient psychiatric experience and ability to work with large groups preferred
